How can I empty inactive forts?

On most servers there are many inactive forts and castles. Of course I can attack them directly but this will use 30k+ troops for a full fort and 3k+ for a full castle.

Is there a way to empty inactives more efficiently? I tried trickling them with cheap troops but it looks like the defenders get a huge advantage so I would waste even more troops that way.

Is there an OT that can be trickled or used in mass attacks that would be more resource efficient than a well-balanced attack?

The devs don't want make it efficent. Then you won't buy gold. "Show me the money" should be the name of this game. The second goal of devs is to drive away all new players that think it is to hard to eat cold cereal.
