End the Trickle

End the Trickle

Can 10000 troops beat 101 in real life? I think yes. There needs to a "brute force" rule in the attack calculations. Something like x to 1 troops will defeat all remaining troops in a castle (or attacking a castle).

X could be anything reasonable like 250 or less to one. If I send 25,250 troops to a castle, it should be able to easily defeat 101 troops in a round. Same thing with defending. That many defenders should be able to easily kill 101 attackers.

100 to 1 sounds better but I am just throwing numbers out there.

I actually quit US1 for awhile just because I was tired of little players constantly attacking then defeating 50000 troops by trickling until all their alts jumped in to send defense.

No the trickle needs to stay. For very skilled players to actually have a say in the battle. Otherwise you just stack it and wait. No offense but I think this is stupid.

It has nothing to do with skill. Trickling is a ridiculous aspect of the game at the current system it uses. The battle server rules should be applied to NA1 and also the trickle should definitely have a cap. One if our players was trickled for 6 days only to be blocked by vacation mode at the end. 6 days!?!? That's ABSURD!! There should be a cap on how many rounds the battle can play out before the castle is entirely overwhelmed.

No because then you could stack a castle and lose a battle. Defenders always have the advantage irl. The system is awesome and should not be changed.

I get that defenders have an advantage in real life, but to think that 10,000 can't take 101 is kind of absurd.

A level 1 castle is made up of an old shed and a couple of haystacks, backed up with a couple of over turned carts. So surely 101 spears can defend this against 100, 000 attackers - stupid stupid stupid

I previously posted a suggestion linking castle defence and troop numbers, however the trickles love trickling despite its obvious flaws. There must be a time when an overwhelming attack force can win in one round

Okay I agree with the fact that if you have a boatload of troops then yes BUT it shouldn't be in one round. Only because then all you do is build the army. The good thing about trickling is that it requires something from you. Otherwise the defender asks for defense and then sits back and watches. Maybe if forts are below level 15 then you can win in like 3. Rounds or something.

Let me put it in perspective, 300 Spartans against HOW MANY PERSIANS??? I think the system works well enough. It gives a certain skill to the game.

Sorry Braos, 300 Spartans helped by 400 Thebans and 700 Thespians. 1400 troops versus 100-150,000 Persians. Still in my my 100-200 to one range so I don't think your bringing that up helps your case.
