Metropolis Troops

Why would the metropolis not be able to recruit troops faster than a city?

They are better than cities in all other aspects but the one that is key to war they are only equal.

1 Metropolis producing troops is very very bad when comparing the the 5 Cities you lost making it.
If this is supposed to be a war game, ypu would think the troop build in 1 Metro would be faster than the 5 Cities combined. Or at least parity..

Completely agree that metropolis recruitment time needs to be at least 5x faster. The motivation to get a metropolis is decreased significantly. If you have an active server with a lot of battles it’s makes almost no sense to build it. Only reason would be to farm silver.

Agree, it’s a joke. It takes forever to recruit troops in the metropolis.
