Something strange occurred and I have no understanding or explanation for what happened. I secured a castle and the battle report showed it had substantial surviving troops (700 plus lancers, 1,000 plus archers and several hundred vikings). The troops simply disappeared without explanation. They were not recalled, there were no battle reports showing they were lost in a counter attack. Where did they go?
