So, if I relocate a castle. Say my castle is 116 points (upgraded buildings, etc), to a free castle that is 20 points.
Will the upgraded buildings relocate too or will I leave an upgraded castle for someone else to simply move into?

Your 116 and the 20 castle will swap locations.

Relocate? You mean attack and claim another castle? You keep your old one too when you take a new one.
