I agree trickling is stupid. You should NEVER do it.

In fact, I encourage all my opponents to NEVER trickle. Ever.

I see it is not too bad solution at all especially when you have attack but your castle is key to keep, so its good to practice however, the pain beomes more once the attacker lands after 2 am.. That needs another solution.

Whatever the view is on it, I see a mass of castles as sitting ripe and fat to be targeted. If you can mass attack them all successfully, then defending them is more difficult. If you got defensive castles, then it's easy to break attacks.

Got too many castles? Easy. Make fortresses. 50 castles, or 10 fortresses? It's easy to see which is easier to manage and protect.

There's always going to be ways to do something. In Tribal Wars there were Nuke Trains and Fakes. Every game has its niches and tactics.

Trickle is a strategy, but the bridge is stupid. If we got rid of the bridge, the trickle is still posible, but not so darn easy. If the objections to removing the bridge is that it makes up for the sync attack function, then remove that too. That way we are back to skills not just tapping buttons

Trickle defence is a great part of the game, especially if you've 20-30 castles under attack, there isn't another way to save your castles.
When you've got 100-200k attacking you you need time to draft in the big defence, and a good trickle defence gets you that time.
Now the new Vikings troops have arrived it makes it interesting again!

I always get a adrenaline rush trickling a player 3x my size and watching them fail at a cap. Then turn around and take a couple of his bases. At least in ct. I've only just started on l&k though but yea...I love giant slaying.
