The fortress: FAQ

I have 5 castles within 3 fields all have researched fortress all have full resourses copper and silver but my keep still has no options bar the banners option. Why is this?

Sorry I misread your post. You have researched fortress, and the castle is at 289 points?

Yes have researched fortress
All 5 castles in 3 fields range
All 5 full resourses including copper and silver
All at 289
No options other than raise the banner in the keep
Any ideas?????

Which way is the best to check fields between castles?

Look at the Time AH Need to get To the Castle. Over 15 Minutes = over 3 fields

How come when the fortress is complete and you loose 4 castles the amount of silver needed to capture another castle doesn't go down. I think it should seeing as it costs so much silver to create the fortress

The fortress counts as 5 castles.

Now that I have a fortress I can make some suggestions.

1st most things about the fortress is nice and fair. The resource developement could be better or lower the cost to upgrade.

But the biggest issue is troop production. You go from being able to produce 1152 spearman a day to only being able to produce 288 a day. That's a MAJOR drop. And it takes until you get the barracks to lvl 30 before the production becomes equal. Is there something that can be done to make that better? It could be a month or 2 before you can start producing troops at a reasonable rate.

Does anybody answer these questions?

Say that you make two fortress centres in two neighbouring castles, by mistake or just because you don't know which one will be the centre.

Now you want to join these two into a fortress making one of them the centre.

Do you have to spend yet another 20k silver?
