Silver increase during discount period

I don't understand. Silver used to increase at 500 per castle or 2500 per fort during a discount period.

Last night I took one fort and my requirements went from 2002500 to 2015000. As a result I stuffed an another attack and lost the lot.

Two freeforts later and I now need 2040000.

2040000 from 2015000 is an increase of 25000, or 12.5k per fort.

What is going on L+K, have you changed the rules!??
