Wouldn't the game crank up a bit if the troops used to capture castles could be used by that castle to take other castles nearby. Similarly defence troops could be forwarded on as well. It makes the game faster and the map change a lot quicker. The delay in returning troops slows things down to a deathly pace. The only delay would be the transport of silver to the new castle.
