Technically you have thousands defending as well. Just not all at once.

No you have around 100 defending, thousands in route to defend. Mobilized units that aren't there to defend yet are not defenders.

End the trickle or at least make it more costly for the defenders
Eg : say 600 troops to keep the battle going to the next round

I hate getting trickled for 12hrs and coming away with nothing buts it's great when the defender trickles for 8hrs and gets his times wrong and he did it all for nothing :)
But there needs to be some kind of realistic calculation to it.
More In the way of trying to make numbers count
Defenders all ready get a three to one raitio on attackers so then also using trickle make it very near impossible to take a castle these days.

How many people do you see making war caps? Few yes but my alliance uses war medals. If you make a war cap you get a medal. It's not supposed to be easy.

But it was just 300 Spartans, not 50 more every 10 minutes somehow sneaking past 40k troops.

I agree that 600 or something would be better. Even 101 would work if there are less than 10000 attackers or something.

I will say that when I left US1, it was a week or two before the attack synch feature. My biggest complaint then was that I would literally spend ALL DAY launching from 185 castles only to be trickled to death by some jackwagon with a loud mouth and 20 castles. While his multiple known alts would go into VM and dump all their troops into the castle I was attacking.

Plus the Persian army defeated that force eventually if I'm not mistaken. Something about overwhelming numbers or something.

This is a game. It's not totally realistic. Messages should take days to travel. But they don't.
